This is def not my usual style of artwork, but I wanted to create an OC just for fun for LOK: Legend of Korra.

This is Hannoku. She is a self taught bender. I figured if peopel can take away bending, or bend other things other than the base element, then why could someone not have enough will to learn bending if they are open enough and in tune enough with their body.

I remember in the original Avatar the Lion Turtle told Aang his will had to be stronger than his opponents to take away his bending. Kind of the same principal.

I'm not sure I care for the style (it's kind of...drab?), but I do like her look, especially her face.

Well yeah, its not my normal style, but it is the style the series is drawn in, or at least how their concept art it done, which was the point. I don't like drawing OC's and it not look like the art could have been in the show. So me doing semi-realism would have looked weird.

Oh yeah, I know you were going for a certain style outside of your usual. It think it might be the colors...they're kinda muted or something. Hmm. I dunno. I do like her, though I think she'd fall out of that top in combat IRL, lol.
